Eiheiji Temple

Fukui City is in Fukui Prefecture. It is to the left of Tokyo. Some nice places to visit are the Asuwa River, Kuzuryu River and Asuwa Mountain. Some famous places to visit are Tojinbo and Eiheiji Temple. Special Fukui foods are crabs, soba , Katsudon sauce and Ayu. Ayu is the name of a fish; you can catch it in the Kuyuryu River. Some pretty flowers are Chrysanthemuns, Narcissus and Cherry Blossoms.

About Japanese food...

A pork cutlet is fried pig. It is very delicious. Japanese fish are eaten in the flesh. We call raw sliced fish, sashimi. We also eat soba which are buckwheat noodles. They are very popular in America now. A Japanese meal is very healthy. Most Japanese eat Miso soup everyday. However our style has gradually changed to European and American. Those who become sick are increasing in number. One of the reasons is the length of intestines of Japanese people and Europeans and Americans. Foe example, it is difficult for Japanese people to digest meat and it has become one of the causes of large intestine cancer. I think it is necessary to eat Japanese food because of this.
