Gameboy FAQs

The gameboy's LCD's screen is said to be it's weakpoint, but it is it's advantage. The screen only takes up 4 AA bateries while all the other hand held systems take up 6 AA batteries. It is also alot smaller than ony other system. The gameboy is the highest form of hand held entertainment.

Review

Graphics: 3.5

The graphics aren't the best, but what you expect. Even the gameboy advanced isn't better than the NES (and it costs $10.00 less that the 64!). I don't think we will see any big improvments in the near future for the gameboy.

Originality: 9

The gameboy, as far as I know, was the first heldheld, portable, and well programed system. My sister got for her birthday a long time ago, and it has somehow fallen into my possition. I like all the old, color, and pocket gameboys (i haven't played advanced).

Fun: 8.5

I love this system as far as the games. They are fun, and once you beat one long one then you get another one. The possibilities are endless, the fun is unbeatable, and the system has a world of it's own.

Price: 6

The price varies depending on what gameboy it is. the original is cheap, and the advanced is for billionares. I would reccomend the old or pocket gameboys. Color and Advanced is not even worth saving up for.

Overall: 6.75
not bad
