Auto Insurance sold on an Individual basis. Everyone files claims to their own insurance--regardless
of Fault. . . . .
After months and months of checking out all the information I could find (see Index page)I've come to the conclusion that "Tort" and "N0-Fault" are both corrupted systems.
Both sides accuse each other of the same things!
Its unreal to be reading "statements" and "opinions", all supposedly made, based in facts, and yet both sides accuse each other of the same faults!!
Both sides claim the other is the favored system of the "Insurance Industry".
Both sides claim the other causes rates to go up!
They make the same accusations against each other, both with statistics, percentages, and surveys supporting their opinions.
"No-Fault" backers say the Mandatory "Tort" system results in higher rates and backlogged courts
Mandatory (Tort Style) backers say the problem is uninsured drivers and claim No-Fault causes rates to go up!
They also insist that its unfair for their insurance to pay if the accident is the other guys fault!
The idea of filing a claim against their own insurance provider is a foriegn language to them. They protect their insurance provider like its one of their kids.
The reason is clear----their scared to death their rates will go up!
Its hard for me to agree with a system of insurance that sells you coverage but punishes you for using it!!
If you've had time to read all the information on my pages concerning the different systems, I think you'll agree that, none of the different types of Auto Insurance available right now, work!
But you haven't seen anything yet till you've checked out the governments idea.(Details are on Page 1)
This proposal is unbelievable. If you havn't checked it out yet, you really should. Its hard to believe college educated people could come up with an idea like that!!
I think a combination of all the systems, implemented with FAIR rules and regulations, is the answer.
