SPORTS LIFE
To understand the Putsy Caballero phenomenon, you have to talk to my mother, Lois, directly!. But basically, Lois met Putsy on October 1, 1950, the night the Philadelphia Philles won the National League Championship (they went on to be swept by, who else, the Yankees, in the World Series). She idolized this life-long backup and has kept in touch with him for 50 years now! So, when my sister Janet visited New Orleans in October, she was ordered to visit Putsy and get a picture with him, and his "famous #3" jersey. So now you know :)
I took this picture of Michael Jordan in his final basketball season (1998), at Madsion Square Garden in New York City. Having worked with MJ while with the NBA, I would say he's what being professional is all about. And...he has really big feet.
My brother Dean and I, above, in February 1992. I designed the San Jose Sharks mascot character, S.J. Sharkie, and he appeared in the costume during the 1991-92 NHL season. On the right, we pose before playing for the Sharks' Staff team against the San Francisco media team. Like my black eye?
February 1992: A real highlight of our stay in San Jose was meeting "The Great One," hockey Hall-of-Famer Wayne Grtetzky.

August 1990 Blaine DeCambaliza and I with the rewards of coaching six street hockey tournament victories for Camp Wildwood.
