A Little About Myself: I'm a college student. Yeah, that's a reach, a college student with an opinion about music. In other news, the sky is blue in the daytime on sunny days.

I work and go to school and buy CDs from Best Buy when I get the chance. I like buying albums because I like supporting artists I like, and because I like the cover art, liner notes, etc. I do however, support file-sharing programs, because I feel that they are essential to any consumer of music. Hey, you gotta be smart and sample what you want before you buy it.

Aside from STP (whom I can't with a clear conscience pigeonhole into one genre), I like the Seattle alternative scene from the early 90s, thrash metal, especially the SoCal scene in the 80s, and all kinds of crazy Scandinavian metal. However, I can dig any kind of music in any genre. To me, genres and categories aren't "good", it's the artist.
