Minnie's will left the house and ten acres to be devided between her
living children. Charles, Oscar, William T., and Daisy. It left
Charlie, the oldest as gardian of Daisy. Charlie died, of a ruptured
appendix,about 6 mos after his mother and the care of Daisy was handed
over to Minnies brother, Jim Smith. Jim picked out a husband for Daisy
and married her off. She had never seen Howard Vance before the
wedding. Daisy was 15 and Howard was 23 at the time. The property was
sold on July 3, 1905 to O.S. Davis. The deed was signed by J.O.Mack,
his wife Frankie, W.T. Mack, Howard Vance and his wife Daisey. The
price was $1250.00.
