VIETNAM TRAVEL TRIP#10
NOV 2000 - APRIL 2001

TOM's travel plans for his second trip to Vietnam in Y2K changed; he left SFO on Monday, November 13, 2000 (01:00am) and returned on Friday, April 13, 2001 (13:30pm). Tom's and Ly's friend Nhieu joined Tom in December 2000. Ly and her daughter, Jeanine were to travel to Vietnam after the VN New Year/ TET (January 25-31) but cancelled their trip. Nhieu made a second trip to Vietnam in 2001 leaving SFO on April 23rd and plans to return three months later.

President Clinton traveled to Vietnam in November after the 2000 Election and arrived in Vietnam the same day that TOM arrived at Tan Son Nhut airport in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). During this trip to Vietnam (March 2001) we purchased Tom's TOM Farm which is a Shrimp Farm operated by Ly's brother, Anh Hai(2)and his family.

Our travel arrangements (visas, airport assistance at the SFO and Tan Son Nhut airports) will be provided by VMC Travel&Services, Oakland/Vietnam.
