Click to go to Tom's Geezer Geek Webpage ROY THOMAS (TOM) "Four Eyes" PREMO, JR. grew up in Klamath Falls, attended Mills Elementary and graduated from Klamath Union High School (KUHS) and Oregon Institute of Technology (OTI). He obtained a BS in Accounting from California State University at Chico (CSUC) and was a California CPA (1963-98). He worked overseas for almost 20 years (1966-85) in Vietnam, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia with Bechtel and Morrison-Knudsen (RMK-BRJ).

Tom has some memories of Klamath Falls during WW2 but he has NOT yet been able to identify "Wesley Premo" who is shown on the Klamath Falls War Memorial. Richard has found some information for me but I still don't recognize him. Possibly he was the "black sheep" in the Klamath Falls PREMO Family, along with "Four Eyes"...:=)

TOM visited the Klamath Falls Museum (Old Armory) during the KUHS Class of 1954 45th Reunion in July 1999 and stood in the very spot that he twisted his knee while dancing to Fats Domino in 1953. He still wears a knee brace after having a cartiledge operation in 1959. There is a bicycle just like Tom's on display at the museum. Also, there is an exhibit about Dan Obrien, the world record holder in the decathalon, in the museum. Tom's son Robert Premo competed against Dan at the Prefontain Meet in Eugene with Dan taking first place in the 110-High Hurdle event and Robert coming in second, see Robert's Track Webpage.

Tom's mother, Edna "Jackie" Premo, passed away on January 10, 1997 and she is buried in the BurneyCemetary with her husband, Roy Thomas Premo. He was office manager for Lorenz Hardware in Klamath Falls and Lorenz Lumber Company in Burney, Shasta County, California. The Premo Foundation has been established in their memory.

Lydia Elizabeth "Betty" Rice, the Premo's good friend from Klamath Falls, died on September 11, 1999. Betty and her husband, Don Rice, lived in Klamath Falls on Huron Street and they moved to Dairy where they owned Rice Feed & Supply.

Tom and his family are World Travelers and have built The Whitehouse East, their new home in GoCong Tien Giang Province, Vietnam. The home was completed in July,1998 and now that Tom is retired, he lives in Vietnam six-months each year during the dry season, November-April. He has a Vietnamese Name "Nguyen Minh TÂM" (Pronouced TOM) and Home Page.
