If you want to know what I've done in the past, this is where you should look.

6-01-02 The mishaps of another day have been uploaded. I think that unless something more spectacular than my survival of another 24-hour cycle (ha! Take that Darwin awards!) occurs, I'm going to forgo updating this part of my page. So, unless I specify otherwise, aside form daily new content via the link below, sadly, there is nothing new to be seen.

Gaikoku ni Gaijin ga imasu:

5-31-02 Another Day posted to my journal, and a minor correction to my spelling. For all those wondering, I'm having a blast in Japan.

5-29-02 Sorry to all those hoping that an update means a new Gospel; no such luck this time. What I have this time is something entirely different: Gaijin ni gaiko imasu. I'm spending a semester studying in Japan this semester, and thought that it might be amusing to one and all (or more likely just myself) if I not only kept a journal of my thoughts and impressions but posted daily updates for public consumption.

Gaijin ni gaikako imasu:

For all those wondering why I'm expending my efforts on this, instead of something useful like the next Gospel, this is all part of my master plan to get back in the swing of writing on a regular basis. Consider this as a kind of kick-start to get me back into the swing of writing and updating on some sort of regular basis.

11-26-01 It's simply amazing how many things I can find to do instead of writing. Like sleeping for instance, or finding out that I accidentally skipped a chapter when designing the titles for Revolution no Mokushiroku, and having to go back and fill in that particular blank. However, I did manage to get most of the items on my agenda crossed off: Finished are:

-Gospel 1:16 (finally; it only took me one year, two months, one week, and six days).

-Revolution no Mokushiroku: Parts 1-3

-MST# 5: Fallen Angel Part 2

-MST #6: Time Angels

-Deadman's Swing

-Itinerant Press: The page is up, but the video links are still down. Just contact me directly if you want a copy.

I'll be working on 'Future Perfect' and 'Hatred of Redemption' over the course of the next week.

11-16-01: I am now a man with a plan. Really, I mean it. I've spent the last month running myself ragged, keeping up with University. This week alone has contained three research papers, a two chapter Japanese exam, followed by a two chapter kanji exam (couldn't we have been given at least one day of respite between them?). And as I sat reviewing my Japanese syllabus, wondering what dread horrors were next, I realized that the class load was ridiculously light, right through next week. With dawning wonder I checked my other classes, and saw that they were the same. After the near relentless pace of assignments (especially the last two weeks), things were beginning to ease up. And then I remembered that next week is Thanksgiving, which means a four-day weekend. And I would have nothing hanging over my head to be done by the time classes resumed.

So Thanksgiving weekend is The Day(s). Using all that beautiful free time, I'll finish the final draft of 1:16, But wait, there's more (and I know that I hear people out there muttering 'there'd better be, given that it's been more than a year). Also to be posted: the first three chapters of my Revolutionary Girl Utena fic: Revolution no Mokushiroku, the first part of my new Evangelion fic: Future Perfect, the first part of my other new Evangelion fic: Hatred of Redemption, part one of my Cowboy Bebop continuation fic: Deadman's Tango, two new MSTs (Fallen Angel part 2, and Time Angels, a Chrono Trigger.Evangelion x-over) and Itinerant Press Productions, home of my award winning (well, maybe someday) anime music videos.

11-9-01: And so it begins.

After 1 year, 1 month, and 26 days, the site apparently arises again. Nothing new, yet. I'm clearing out a year+ worth of old content and getting everything new ironed out. So keep an eye, for there shall be changes coming quite soon (and I really mean that this time).

And just so that I don't keep everyone in suspense, there will only be one addition to the Gospels this time around. I'm sorry, and I hope the rest more than makes up for it.

Oh, btw, I finally managed to fix the MSTs I posted, so the text wraps right. Please, feel free to get a good laugh out of those, while I get to work.

9-13-00: Happy Second Impact everybody! To the one half the population that was wiped out in the conflagration and subsequent floods, you have my condolences. To the rest, well, think of just how much shorter the lines are going to be. In honor of the Second Impact I finally have the next installment of the Gospels (I do apologize that it's taken so long to get up and that there isn't more, but I gave myself a mild case of burnout after the last update, and unfortunately, real life has been tossing in it's own complications). On the upside, the Gospels are not the only thing being updated; also included is an original short story, "Associations." I recommend this story to everyone visiting Wonder Central, because it is, in the opinions of my pre-readers, the best piece of fiction I've written, bar none. I've also taken up the trade of MSTing - treating bad fanfics in the same manner that the late TV series treated bad movies, and my first four our posted on my writing page. Finally, I just want to address a few questions that have been popping up frequently in emails:

1: Terry is NOT a self-insert in any way shape or form. If he was then he'd be devoting all his time to chasing after Asuka, Misato, and Ritsuko, and trying to stay as far as possible away from Rei (I find her intimidating and just a little frightening). There is is a self-insert lurking somewhere in the Gospels. If anyone can figure out who it is, give yourself a cookie and a pat on the back.

2: No I have not forgotten about the black thing from the sea that appeared back in 1:11. However, certain events are taking much longer to reach than I had originally anticipated, resulting in the flow of time during Gospels to slow significantly. If you notice, 1:9-1:15 encompass a span of only a few days.

3: Yes, I could spend a lot more working on the Gospels, but I have a heavy class load this semester and I'm involved in quite a few other time consuming activities. I did however utilize a long train trip to get a few dozen pages of outlining done, so the next installments should not require such an exorbitant amount of time to post.

4: My most heartfelt thanks to everyone out there visiting my page and reading my work. Without all of your support none of this would have ever come to be. God bless, and may all the angels you see be nice ones, and not the kind that are trying to wipe out humanity, and stuff.

A bit of late-breaking news: for some reason, after I upload the MSTs, they now longer seem to feel the need to wrap at 70 characters. I'm trying to fix this problem, so please bare with me for a bit.

2-8-00: Well, it's done, finally. I went a little over the two-week deadline, but I feel that the results are worth it. Newly posted are Gospels 1:12, 1:13, and 1:14, and everything from 1:0 to 1:11 has been reposted. I didn't rewrite the entire series, but revised it, fixing some minor problems, clarifying some scenes, adding little tidbits here and there (on average, I added an additional page of text to each Gospel). The only change that everyone should be aware of off the bat is that Akane (the bridge bunny who replaced Maya after her promotion) is now named Suiko Enoto (I couldn't believe just how much e-mail I received asking if she was the same Akane from Ranma 1/2). I hope that everyone enjoys these updates and thanks for reading.

1-18-00: Sorry, but this update is not because the next installment of the Gospels has been posted. Now before everyone breaks out their bats and torches, there is a good reason for this. First, computer trouble. Lots of it. Both my editor and I had our systems crash over Christmas (we use the same model computer), forcing us to format and reinstall. He lost everything he'd edited, which was a big setback. Now while he's been recovering lost ground, I've been writing, so when the Gospels are updated, you'll get a revision of the entire series, 1:12, 1:13, and 1:14. In no more than two weeks I promise Gospel-y goodness for everyone, and I hope that it makes up for the excruciatingly slow pace that I've been working at. Thanks to everyone who has written, and to respond specifically to one: no, I am not dead.

What is in this update are several minor updates to the pages, error corrections, new links, that sort of thing.

10-30-99: 1:12 is coming.

Unfortunately, I cannot say that it is already here; but it will be soon. The rough draft has been completed and the editing process has begun. However, 1:12 is not the end of the changes to the Gospels. When I started 1:12, I decided that in order to make sure that all events stayed in character with the story as I have written, I would go back and re-scrutinize the entire series. When I did so, I found the Gospels greatest flaw: its lack on linearity. In regards to the series as a whole, I only have a vague outline of events past the most recent Gospel, so as I write, events drift from what I envisioned when I wrote the previous story. So I'm fixing that. The Gospels are being revised.

None of changes will be major. Kaworu is still dead, Kensuke still has a camera glued to his eye, and Tokyo-3 still gets wrecked on a fairly regular basis. However, some crimes will have new culprits, and not all dialogues end in precisely the same way. You won't be left in the dark if you don't go back and reread the Gospels, but if you decide that you want to, well, I won't complain.

9-02-99: Big News: Gospel 1:11 is up and the outline for 1:12 has been completed (I'll refrain from estimating when it'll be done, since that seems to invariably call a dreadful jinx down upon my head (or more to the point, my word processor)). Also posted: Anime Fandemonium(a great big x-over parody), Sourire de dernière Rose (Utena Fanfic), The Illusions That We Hold (Rurouni Kenshin Fanfic). Under Oddities and Ends goes "Hey Mr. Klan-man!" a proposed editorial for the Ann Arbor News during one of Ann Arbor's infamous Klan gatherings. Finally, there are a few entries and updates in the Fanfic Review.

8-19-99: Went through my "Links" section and cleared out all the dead/outdated links. For those of you interested, I'm almost done with the outline for 1:11 and should have the completed story posted between Wednesday and Friday. To everyone who has written to me in support, you have my heartfelt thanks.

7-13-99: At long last, I have finished and posted Gospel 1:10!

6-14-99: I just put up my Fanfic Catalogue; a listing and rating of every fanfic I've read. As for Gospel 1:10…I recently suffered a HD crash. I was able to recover most of my data, EXCEPT 1:10, and my production notes for the Gospels. Unfortunately, I cannot say how long this will delay me.
