As part of our massive efforts in tsunami relief in Tamil Nadu and the
surrounding states, we urgently require funds for the following projects:
- Housing project for tsunami victims - Chennai, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam
- Provision of fishing equipment to affected fishermen - Chennai, Kanyakumari
- Used books project for schoolchildren in Chennai

Overview of the TOS
The Theosophical Order of Service is a worldwide brotherhood that is active in
many ways for the relief of suffering. TOS groups
all over the world work in areas that include healing services, providing free
medicines and medical aid to the poor, helping prisoners, promoting education,
and doing animal welfare, among others.
The TOS was founded in February 1908 by Dr. Annie Besant, then the President
of the Theosophical Society. The TOS is a separate organisation
from the Theosophical Society, but is closely linked with it.
