If you think Anime's cool, wait 'till you check out the Japanese music scene! I'm sure that you've already enjoyed some of those catchy Anime songs, and are hungry for more! Contrary to popular belief, Japan does have good modern music, and there's something for every taste! The main genre of Japanese music that I listen to is J-pop. I'm starting to get into some Japanese rock now. My favorite artists so far are globe, Namie Amuro, Tomomi Kahala, hitomi, X-Japan, SMAP etc. If you're ready to listen to some, here are some links where you can get background info, music samples, etc.
