San Diego, CA/ Manchester, NH--(MY WIRE)--March 29, 2000--Toasters Forever announced today that they have contacted Sunbeam Corporation (NYSE:SOC - news) in order to establish a web presence and portal for Sunbeam Corporation in exchange for linking potential toaster fans to their website. "As of now,we haven't heard back yet, but its early yet and these companies are not known to play on Internet Time" says a Toasters Forever executive. He was pretty optomistic noting that he recently was in Boca Raton, FL, which is where Sunbeam has it's corporate Headquarters. Other services Toasters Forever could offer to benefit Subeam Corporation include: Website design, wireless web design, software products and embedded software for their popular toaster lines, as well as portable Windows CE application development at reduced rates depending on traffic delivered from Sunbeam. Sunbeam could not be reached for comment.

Apparently this deal would be quite mutually beneficial, but Toasters Forever has a long hard road ahead of it. Sunbeam has recently announced a new strategy and partnership with Microsoft(NASDAQ:MSFT - news). Some analysts are skeptical at Toasters Forever's chances of getting in ont his action. "We see it as Microsoft noticed the wealth that could be earned in this forum and took their chance on it" says one analyst. On an upbeat note an analyst is quoted as saying, "We believe there is room for both Microsoft and application/content Developers like Toasters Forever in this market, and things look good for them. With their experience in XML, Windows CE software development and web designing they have everything these two business' need." We will wait and see how this unfolds in future press releases.
