Here is the main strategy behind my victory:
The main idea above all others is to get the Robotics advancement and start building war walkers everywhere. Do whatever it takes to get Robotics. Try to be friendly and have embassies in all other civilizations so you will be able to bargain for Robotics later. If you can't develop Robotics yourself, or trade advances for it, send spies to try and steal it.
Chances are you will eventually get Robotics. Again, once you do, start building them in as many places as possible. You won't need to spend any more on education or science since you then start plundering other civilizations and taking advancements. Once you get a force of nine war walkers let the fun begin, starting with the most powerful civilization that is in your way, unless one or more is involved in Alien project, in which case they must be stopped ASAP. Continue to pound them one at a time until their forces are nominal. For a mop-up action, start building Swarm units.
To make this game even harder, you could play with diety level using a gigantic world. I have tried numerous times to beat this but have not yet succeeded. I am confident I will do it, then post it here.
