Fiction: telephoned

"Hello, Operator?"

"Yes sir what can I do for you?"
"I have a death to report, can you connect me to the proper office?"

"Do you know what the cause of death is?"

"He was shot and the man who shot him took his own life as well."

"I'll connect you with the coroners office."

"Thank you."  I waited there for the coroner for a few minutes then a man with a deep voice said, "Coroner speaking, how can I help you?"

"I have a death to report, Jay Gatsby and George Wilson are at the Gatsby house shot to death, could you send over some people?"

"I know the Gatsby house I went to a party there once, Ill send a crew and some police is that ok?"

"That will be good thank you"
