Top 10 Ways to Make Your Count.

Provide youth leadership and mentoring programs to 947 boys and girls in the Titusville region through Boy and Girl Scouting and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Crawford County.
Provide life skills training and family support to 25 families with children who have been labeled mentally retarded to enhance their lives by promoting independence. Program provided by the ARC of Crawford County.
Helps the YMCA provide a safe after-school program to 60 students in grades 1-6 with emphasis on education, socialization and community awareness and career exploration.

Counseling services are provided to the region:

  • Crawford County Drug and Alcohol provides counseling to 30 teens annually in the Titusville Area School District.
  • Family Services and Children's Aid Society provides family counseling services to 25 families.
  • Victim's Resource Center provides Counseling and Advocacy services for 170 victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
  • Hospice of Crawford County provides bereavement services to 100 families.

Educational programs are offered to the region.

  • Genisis Family Center provides the Parents as Teachers program which reaches 25 new mothers and their children.
  • Victim's Resource Center provides 175 Education and Community Outreach programs on domestic violence and sexual assault prevention.
  • Crawford County READ Program provides one-to-one tutoring aiding 51 adults with reading skills in the area.
Mental Health support provided by the YWCA's Social Connections drop-in center, which serves 100 adults with mentlal health concerns in the Titusville Area.
The Titusville Senior Center provides 3,000 noon meals and recreational programs to 300 seniors in the Titusville Community.
The Salvation Army provides human necessities to 300 individuals.
Approximately 75 homeless women and children receive shelter through the YWCA's St. James House.
Associated Charities provides fuel assistance to 128 families and school clothing to 200 students each year.
