Scouting: A big guy who plays fairly aggressive although is not as dominating as you'd like to see from someone that size.. Very fast at top speeds, can skate with anyone. Is aggressive and will skate through traffic though with his size, youd like to see him drive through people.. is fairly agile and can turn a corner fairly fast.. Long stride.. Strong down low and around the net, is a menace for defenders.. Carry's the puck well, has a long reach.. Is strong on the puck, hard to control 1 on 1. At this level with his size should be near impossible to handle 1 on 1.. Has some quick hands. Hard shooter, very accurate either with slapshot or wrist shot. Gets them off very fast, doesn't hesitate. Sometimes makes bad passes although at times his playmaking is right on the mark.. You wish he'd play the body more and be more aggressive physically.. Tends to float a bit and not give 100% defensivelly. Has excellent potential as a dominating power forward with good skills just has got to put it all together. |
