Welcome to Tips for Idiots. This website is a compiliation of ideas and projects from the TFI staff. Tips for Idiots' purpose is to entertain and inform. We are an independent,  non-for-profit organization run by volunteers.

Tips for Idiots was created in 2002 by Shawn Johnson. Since it's foundation, many people have contributed to the furthering of TFI. Many sent in photo's, or supplied materials or locations for projects. Others have signed on as regular volunteers. Currently, the TFI staff consists of three regular volunteers: Shawn Johnson, Cameron Loveland, and Chris Hardesty. Tips for Idiots is always open to new people. If you think you would like to help with the site, please send your resume to our email. Serious applicants only please. This is also the address to send in photo's or other works you wish to submit.
