Yes, its time to talk about that again!!!
Grisoft is now offering a new version - still free. Its AVG Version 7, and it's a much nicer program. If you're using AVG and its Version 6, you should get the new one immediately, as they have announced that they will no longer be supporting Version 6 after December 31.
Some of the features are:
Automatic updating - if you're not online when the update is due, it will occur the next time you are online
Automatic scanning - if your computer isn't turned on at the time scanning is to occur, it will start the next time you turn your
computer on.

For those using Norton, be sure to keep an eye on your subscription date, and if its getting close, go ahead and re-subscribe if you're going to. If you sign up early, you don't lose that extra month, because they add your new year to whatever time you have left on the old subscription.

It means: "Because I know darn well there are only 4 disks."
It says: "Not enough memory"
It means: "I don't CARE if you've got 128MB of RAM, I want to use the bit below 640K."
It says: "Cannot read from drive D:...."
It means: "... However, if you put the CD in right side up..."
It says: "Please Wait...."
It means: "... Indefinitely."
It says: "Directory does not exist...."
It means: ".... any more. Whoops."
It says: "The application caused an error. Choose Ignore or Close."
