The Northern Kingdom and Her Kings
Northern Kingdom:  First three[3] dynasties lasted fifty {50} years
After the death of King Solomon, the Nation of Israel, was divided. The Northen and the Southern kingdoms. The Northern kingdom had  ten [10] tribes; the Southern kingdom, was made-up of two [2] tribes
                                                                       First Dynasty
(1.)    Jerobaom 1st.
Jeroboam 1st,was the son of Nebat,an Ephrathite of Zereda. He was King Solomon's servant. Solomon had made him ruler over the forced labor, and the house of Joseph. He built Millo and closed the breaches of the city of David. The prophet Ahijah, told Jeroboam that God was going to give him ten {10} tribes of Israel to rule; after the death of king Solomon. The reason for this was not for his good character, nor deserts; but for the chastising of Solomno's apostasy: Because, he and many of family, and many of the people; have forsaken me, and worshipped other gods. think not, neither make any attempt upon the two [2] tribes of Benjamin and Judah. Never think that David was rejected as Saul was. Never fail to support and keep in reputation, the house of David, because out of it the Messiah must rise. destroy it not for that blessing is in it. Always do what's right and I will build  a sure house for thee. As soon as King Solomon found out, that God, had rent the kingdom out of his hands; and given it to Jerobaom, and that David would always have a kingdom, because I have chose him for my servants  sake; for he kept my commandments and statutes; Solomon  sought to kill him.
As Solomon sought to kill Jeroboam, he fled to Egypt, where he stayed, til the people of Israel called for him after the death of King Solomon. The childern of Israel sent to Egypt for Jeroboam to come and be their speaker against Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, who was preparing to be the next king, to rule over Israel. Rehoboam, knew the threating that the kingdom should be rent from him......................
The people complained about Rehoboam's yoke being grievous, his father's reign, the idolatry of his father,  and the raising of the taxes, costing to much.
There is no mention, of true worship being done or not done, at this time. The kingdom is split, Jeroboam, the son of Nebat,an Ephrathite of Zereda; sets on the throne of the Northern Kingdom, as their king. He  dwelt in Shechem, in mount Ephraim; and built Penuel.....He built altars, made an house of high places, made golden calves. He built these altars, high places, in Bethel and Dan so the people wouldn't have to go to Judah. He  ordianed feasts in the eight [8] month on the fifteen [15] day of month like unto the feasts at Judah. He burnt incense upon the altars and conscrated himself as priest, and ordianed the lowest of the people to be priests.
Jeroboam 1st. reigned over the Northern Kingdom for twenty [22] years, and slept with his fathers. His son Nadad, takes the throne of Israel, known as the Northern Kingdom.
(2.)  Nadad:
The son of Jeroboam, sets in his father stead  over Israel. Abijah, the son of Jeroboam had died before he was old enough to reign. Nadad did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of his father; and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.
Nadad, reigned for two [2] years, for Baasha conspired against him: and smote him.
                                                                 Second Dynasty:
(3.)  Baasha:
The son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, gained the throne by murdering his predecessor,Nadad. Later he extermenated the house of Jeroboam 1st. Baasha was labeled wicked and rebellious in Tirzah.
The prophecy was fulfilled by Baasha, according unto the saying of the Lord,by his servant Abijah, the Shilonite.........Abijah was a prophet during the end of King Solomon's reign and right after his death.
Jehu the son of Hanani, who was a seer,or prophet at the same time; was sent by God to warn Baasha, king of the Northern Kingdom. Also to remind him of God's greatness and the good things God has done for him.He charges Baasha with high crimes, in that he had caused Israel to sin; and brought them to pay to dunghill deities, the homage due to God. And provoked God to anger with the works of his hands - plus he had destroyed the house of Jeroboam, and killed Jeroboam.
The same destruction was to come upon his family, which he had employed upon Jeroboam's .
King Baasha, is granted a reprieve for a long time; after self-effacing; before the Lord.
Baasha dies in peace, and is buried with honor. He reigned for twenty-four [24] years over Israel.
His son, Elab, reigned for two [2] years and was slain by Zimri, one of his own soldiers;as Nadad was slain by Baasha..........
(4.)   Elab:
The son, of King Baasha, sets on the throne of Israel as the next king. Zimri captain  of half of Elab's chariots ,conspired against him. When, Elab, was in  Arza's  house at Tirzah; drinking himself drunk. Zimri, came to Arza's house in Tirzah, and slew him while he was drunk. His  fall was more inglorious, than Nadad. Nadad was slain in the field  of action, and honuor; as he, and his army, were besieging Gibbethon.
Elab, was enjoying his own ease, and having his pleasure, while he should have been with his men to command as cheif.
The reign of Elab over Israel lasted two [2] years. For Zimri slays Elab.

(5.)     Zimri:
Begins his reign over Israel, and reigned for one [1] week. He became known as one who kills his own master. During this period of  the Northern Kingdom's,  dynasty, Zimri,Tibni and Omri, were striving for the crown. The people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines, when they had heard that Zimri, had killed  king Elab, wherefore all of Israel made, Omri captain  of the host. Zimri, lived in Tirzah, where his house and palace were.
Omri, and all Israel  besieged Tirzah;when Zimri seen that the city was taken he went into the palace of the king's house and burnt it down over him; and die.
Zimri reigned over Israel for seven [7] days. This ends the first three[3] dynasties, which lasted for fifty [50] years.
End Of First Three Dynasties Which Lasted (50) Years

Omri founder of the fourth (4) Dynasty -  Last  (48) Years
                                                                                                  Idolatry Rampant
(6.)   Omri:
After the death of Zimri, Omri, struggled with Tibni and got clear of him. Half of the people followed Omri, the other half of the people followed Tibni. The contest between Omri and Tibni lasted several years. It was in the twenty-seventh (27) year of  of  Asa,king of Judah, that Omri was elected as king of the Northern Kingdom: But it  was in the thirty-first years of King Asa' reign; four (4) years later that Omri, began his reign as king, without a rival.
The people that followed, Omri prevailed against Tibni, the son of Ginath; so Tibni died and Omri reigns as king over Isreal without a rival .
Omri made himself famous by building Samaria, which ever after, was the royal city of the kings of Israel. The kings had royal seats, the first, was Shechem, then Tirzah; now Omri, makes Samaria, the royal seat.
By his wickedness,he was infamous, for he was the worse than all that was before him.  Jeroboam 1st. caused Israel to sin by temptation, example, and allurements: But Omri did it by compelling force. He wrought evil in the eyes of the Lord, and did worse than all that were before him.............

Reigned: King Omri regined over Isarel for twelve (12) years ; six (6) of those years he ruled in Tirzah.

Ahab, the son of King Omri begins his wicked reigned  over Israel .
