The best bimonthly magazine about playset figure collecting around.
This loose leaf book and its appendix show the silhouettes of well over a thousand figures from the 1950's and 1960's. It's a valuable resource for collectors.
These are professional quality videos that are all about playsets and figures.
The homepage of the Osprey book line. Osprey makes reasonably priced books about military subjects, with lines concentrating on particular military units. They are filled with excellent illustrations of uniforms and equipment, many in color.

This is a wonderful site about the Western figures made by the Hartland Company. It's very comprehensive and great visually.
This site is all about the Western figures and horses made by the Stuart Company in the 1950's and 1960's.
A fairly comprehensive site about the larger Western action figures, such as 3 1/4" and 12".
