Tim’s World

The purpose of this site is to be a resource for the players about my D&D world. There’s all sorts of information that, while useful for a player to know, is not necessary for any given D&D game day. By putting it on the web, the idea is to make the information available to the players but they can read it on their own time, when it’s convenient for them, and they don’t have to worry about it getting lost (like handouts).

The use of this site is completely optional. But it is my hope that the players will find some of the information useful and will allow them to feel more a part of the world they’re playing in.

Submissions by the players are welcome. They can be stories, character background, history of places, pictures, whatever. I will review everything and determine whether it will be used but I do encourage player input. Some players have previously submitted background stories that have significantly shaped parts of my world (including ways they don’t even know). Just remember whatever is submitted can be viewed by the other players (though a player could always submit a public character background, what they let people know, and then give me a private one that I’ll keep in my files).

General World Description
This area gives an overview of my world including comparison to a “standard” D&D world. It also contains information about various locations in my world.

Tim’s House Rules
This area describes any changes to the D&D rules that are in effect when playing in my campaign. It also contains any new rules that I’ve added (such as new feats).

Adventuring Tips
This area contains a hodgepodge of information that I think will be useful to the players. It includes general adventuring tips and useful to remember D&D rules. It contains tips for characters of a general nature.

The Characters
This contains miscellaneous information about the characters including any background stories supplied. Also contains any rules that a character should take careful note of due to their class or unique abilities.

Getting Ready to Leave the Dwarf City
Some information that may be helpful to the players as they plan their next move.

Feats by Category
This will take you to a list of all (almost) the feats available in my world. There are over 200 so I have sorted them by category.

The Story Thus Far
A brief (?) narrative of what the characters have been doing.
