Ok guys, I know this is what you’ve been waiting for! To find out what gear I like. Well this version of this section will consist mainly of Underwear and undergear.  There will be another section going over the rest of the sports gear and Speedos.

Ok Here we go, I've divided it up into Briefs, Boxer Briefs, Boxers, Jock straps, Thongs and Bikinis. I'll briefly touch on freeballin' too.

Ok, I admit it I do freeball sometimes. For those of you who don’t know what freeballin' is, it's when you go "commando" or without underwear. I have gotten more into this as the years have gone by. I usually do this in jeans or if I'm just around the house. For me to do it in jeans it usually has to be a tight pair like Wranglers or some similar. It will drive me crazy if my business moves around. I do it around the house when I'm in some loose shorts or just hanging out. So with that confession out of the way let's talk undergear.

In Briefs I like more of the designer brands. My personal favorites are Calvin’s, Tommy, Ralph Lauren, 2xist and similar ones. I don’t really care for Haynes or Fruit of the Loom. Those to me seem to be cut bigger and wear out faster. I like the fit and feel of the designer brands cause they keep everything in place. I Love the Tommy ones cause of the blue and white waistband. He has created a very distinctive underwear design and I Love it. I usually wear Calvin’s if I’m wearing briefs. But lately I think Calvin has lost his mind cause the price of Calvin’s are going sky high. I have cut back on them unless I can get them at a discount store. Ralph Lauren one’s are great. I tried them and loved the fit and feel of them. They are nice and snug and keeps it all in place. But again it’s very expensive at times. You can catch a good sale on them from time to time. 2xist has to be my favorite underwear. I know they had to have a gay man design their gear. The briefs fit like they had a guy in mind. They are nice and snug and feel awesome from the time you slide them on. You really think they gave out pairs to guys when they were developing them and asked their opinions and came back and created an underwear line based on their feedback. Last kind of briefs I like is one by Target. The BUM brand has really put great underwear at a reasonable price. I believe that it’s also done by 2xist because when they first came out they used the same pictures on the boxes that 2xist did. Now granted the briefs aren’t the same high quality as the 2xist. But they are damn good for the price.

Ok guys, this is the underwear I hate to wear more than any other kind. I’d rather go with out than wear many of the boxer briefs that are out there. Heck, I’d rather wear boxers. But the one thing I hate about boxer briefs is that they bunch up. No matter what kind I get they start to drive me crazy about 2 hours after I have them on. The only exception to this is ones that are tight like compression/bike shorts. They don’t move or bunch up. I can wear those. JC Penny’s had a great brand a few years back, Lee Wright, but I don’t know if they still do. They had ones that went almost to your knees and one cut right below the crotch. They were awesome. This is the one area that Calvin needs to learn on, I will NEVER wear Calvin boxer briefs, those are the ones I hate the most. Jockey and Champion make them too but as I have already a prejudice against them, I’m unlikely to try them anytime soon.

I know what guys are thinking after reading the Boxer Briefs. Well I actually do like boxers. I usually wear them under my Khakis, shorts or to lounge around the house. I can’t wear them under jeans because they do bunch up, but under loose fitting pants, like khakis or dress pants they are cool. But let’s not forget to mention silk boxers! WOW, talk about fun, these things gets me going all day I have them on. I had a few pairs a while back but need to get some more high quality ones. Just a note, I usually only where these when I am dating or have a special date. They get me too wound up to think. So I know I’ll be making love with someone when they come off. Whew, moving on, but my favorite boxers are Tommy Hilfiger. That man knows how to make undies. And his distinctive waistband for his boxers is great too. I’ve had a few pairs of Calvin’s too. I like the loose baggy fitting boxers that are kind of fitted. But one of my favorite pairs is a Tommy pair with the same waistband as the Tommy briefs and they are green and white pin stripes. They are great. If you guys out there like boxers tell me some that are similar to Tommy’s. Also before I forget the knit boxers Tommy has are awesome too. I’m telling you, Tommy all the way! Just kidding, actually right now I don’t own that much Tommy gear, I need to get more.

Jockstraps. Hmm who ever invented them must have been a gay man. Why? Because they look so great on a guy. In the front a big hefty pouch and two straps that frame a butt nicely. I wear jocks. I like both the swimmer kind and regular. If you don’t know what the swimmer kind are those are the ones with the 1-inch waistband as opposed to the usual 3-inch band. My favorite brand of course is Bike. They make the best wearing and lowest price one around. How could you go wrong for $3-4? Champion also makes a jock but it’s more expensive. I have one somewhere around here and love it. Let’s not forget to mention Safety Jocks, You know them, they make the colored jocks. Blue, Yellow, Red, White, and Black. Those are great to add some color in to your wardrobe. I wish they were made like Bike but they are still great and worth the money. The one kind of jocks that I never have gotten that I want is made of spandex. They have like a one-inch waistband and smaller leg straps and a spandex pouch. I’ve seen them out there but never can find one. Hey look so sweet and bet they fit great. Do you guys remember when Calvin and Bike made jocks with the pouches made of like a cotton jersey material? I have some of them but they are about worn out. Why don’t they make cooler underwear like that?

I Love thongs but I don’t wear them as much as I should. One reason is I like ones with a thin band that goes up the middle of your *ss and you can barely tell it’s there. My very favorite thong right now is a 2xist one. Man this thong is a work of art. The regular underwear waistband, nice pouch and the y back! Man who ever thought of the y-back should get some sort of metal. It looks so sexy on a guy. I usually wear them under my jeans when I want to really show off a big box. It accents what you have in the front. Not to mention the boxes they come in should be for 18 and up! DAMN! My other favorite thongs aren’t made any more. Jockey made some great thongs in the early to mid 90’s and they were awesome. I have three of them, two black (which I got from a guy and his boyfriend, hehehe maybe I’ll share that story later) and one red that I bought for myself. They are about worn out. I don’t want to get rid of them but shortly there won’t be anything left. I have some thong bathing suits and but those can get annoying cause they can ride up and really drive you crazy. I have only worn one out in public. I’ll share this story real quick. I used to go lay out in Piedmont Park here in Atlanta. During the summer of 1996 they were doing work on the park and all the gay guys went to a section of the park that was cut off from the rest by a big wall because they were doing construction work. So this was great you could lay out in peace. So I would wear my Speedos and get some sun. Well one day I was doing stuff around the house and I put on this bright orange thong. I decided to go down to the park and layout but I forgot to change. I spread my blanket out and kicked off my shoes, took my shirt off and then unbuttoned my shorts. Now granted when a new guy got there everyone watched him get undressed. You had to check out the new people, it was part of the fun. But I unzipped my shorts and slid them half way down my butt when I realized, wait a minute, I didn’t put on my Speedo! I felt he sun on my butt and a breeze. I sat down real quick and took off my shorts. I couldn’t believe that I forgot to change. So the rest of the day I just sunned the front. But one of the best things I saw at the park was this cute blond twink in his thong. He made sure to show off his bubble butt cause he constantly laid on his stomach. And his bubble butt was perfect. All I could do is stare. Well back to what I’m really supposed to be talking about. Once again Target comes to the rescue. They have just started selling some that come 4 in a pack for $10. They aren’t too bad. Target is really moving up in the underwear department. But I like thongs. I really would like to hear what brands of thongs you like out there.

Ok boys now were talking. This is my FAVORITE kind of underwear. I wear bikinis about 90% of the time. My favorite brands are Jockey Elance, Alfani (a brand here in the states sold at Macy’s), 2xist, BUM, Calvin’s, Underwear Exchange (more about them in a minute) E2U, and I’ll think of more in a few minutes. Jockey is the best and the first I ever got. The Elance briefs are great. They are just the right size and fit great. I always try to pick them up. Jockey also came out with the Micro 3 line. A line of underwear made out of like spandex/nylon that’s very tight and clingy. They made Elance briefs and they are incredible. They are like wearing nothing at all. I guess the reason I like wearing bikinis is I like everything in place and held there. I know this drives some guys crazy and they need to let the boy’s hand free, but not me. I like the boys in place and not moving. Just feels good to me, but to each there own right. 2xist is another incredible line of undies. They fit awesome but I’ve been through 2xist under the Briefs Section. But they have great pouch briefs, kind of string bikinis or tangas (I think I spelled that right for you Europeans), and the like. BUM is like I said very similar to 2xist and is great! Again I went through this under Briefs. Calvin’s, now I really like Calvin’s but I don’t wear them much because they are damn expensive. I refuse to pay $18 for one bikini. Granted Calvin makes great undies, other than boxer briefs, but his regular briefs and bikinis that fit well and holds up. But the price, I just won’t do it. Now we get to one of my new favorites, Underwear Exchange, and can you guess where they are? You got it Target. They have some bikinis (sports briefs) that I have not tried but they have some really cool low-rise nylon briefs. You remember them in the 80’s? Man they are incredible I bought a pack of ten, and can you believe they actually come in colors? Not the typical white, black and gray that men’s underwear is in now. I have white, bright blue, green, red, purple and dark blue. They fit so great. If you had these in the 80’s you’ll love that they brought them back. I guess that’s another reason I Like bikinis, COLORS! I think white undies are so dull. I like to wear a bright red, green or blue. As I say you may have to dress conservatively but you can wear something hot under your clothes. OOPPPS I forgot Alfani, well they are very much like the Underwear exchange, very brief and full seat and nice pouch. They are great, nice and cotton. I hope I can get some pix of all these soon. E2U, if you’re not familiar with them they are ergonomically designed for men. Well I should say men who are packing in front. I must say they are great undies too. I have two pairs a guy gave me and they fit great. But the only down fall is they too are $20 a pair. Which if I had never gotten them as a gift, I wouldn’t’ have bought them. But if you have a big box, get you some you’ll be glad you did. I saw that they came out with a jock too; I’ll let you guys know if I get one and tell you how good they are. I guess that’s all I can think of for bikinis. I know this maybe a little out there at times but I’ll go back and edit later.
