A Timothy Tune

By his mother (who else?)

(to the tune of "The Thing" or "As I Was Walking Down the Beach"

A baby boy named Timothy, came on his dad's birthday
And turned the household inside out with his engaging way
His eyes did sparkle, his hair was wild, his voice was filled with glee
And when he turned his charm on you, his wish was your decree.

Chorus:  Oh, he brought smiles and cheer to all, he wasn't at all shy
He told tall tales that brought a smile, he was a loveable guy!

North Kamloops Elementary was his first formal Ed
He entertained his teachers and made weird and lifetime friends.
Of sportsmanship, he learned a lot on many minor teams,
And when he left that institute they threw away the keys.

At NorKam he was widely known for his clever practical jokes.
At academics and debate he impressed many folks
The girls were quick to help him out with any scheme he had
His philosophical approach meant he was seldom sad

At SFU he studied hard to be an engineer
He drove his uncle's RX7, now for speed he has a fear
Skydiving was a dream of his an he it once did try
Adventures and achievements he's had in good supply.

Chorus

He met a girl named Toni, whose path he'd crossed before
She loved math puzzles and healthy food and the outdoors even more.
Tim soon was juggling Japan trips around his new sweetheart
His exercise and diet improved, we think they're very smart.

Chorus: They're cute and serious and lots of fun, and we all share their dream
And now that they have tied the know, they are an awesome team!

They have fun times and share their goals with mutual respect
Their paths will always lead them to the dreams that they select
So paddle kayaks and hike those peaks and build a little nest
Soon bedtimes stories and potty training will be what you do best.

Chorus
