We are conservative Bible believers,
practicing priesthood of all believers, gathering in indigenous,
independent, local assemblies for worship and remembrance every
Sunday.
Our Basic Guidelines are:
Scripture
Believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the word of God. It is
infallible and inerrant and God has revealed His whole mind to us only
through the 66 cannonised books of the Bible. It is sufficient for all
matters pertaining to life and godliness.
God
Believe in the doctrine of trinity. God is one in essence but three in
respect to person. In other words in the one being of God there are
three persons of one substance, power, and eternity - Father, Son and
the Holy Spirit.
Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God truly became Man being conceived of the
Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is impeccable. He has
accomplished our redemption through the shedding of his blood and
sacrificial death on the cross. His death was voluntary, vicarious,
substitutionary, propitiatory and redemptive. He rose again on the
third day and now mediates as our advocate and High priest. Holy
Spirit Holy Spirit indwells permanently in all believers. Baptism of
the Holy Spirit brings believers into union with other believers in
the body of Christ. Baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs simultaneously
to salvation and is not experiential. It is historical. Filling of the
Holy Spirit is different from the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is a
commandment: "Be continually being filled with the Spirit". Being
filled with Spirit means a believer is under complete control of the
Spirit. It is not a one time experience but rather repeated
experience, which is essential for spiritual maturity and service.
Salvation
Man is a sinner, Jesus Christ is the only Savior. Salvation is
obtained by grace as a free gift from God through the precious blood
of his son Jesus Christ. And believe in the eternal security of
salvation of every believer. There is a distinction between the saved
and Apostate. E.g.: Judas Iscariot was not saved, he was an apostate.
Church
Each local church is an autonomous body independent and directly
responsible to the Lord and not accountable to any external human
authority. It is solely governed by elders and deacons under the
guidance and control of Holy Spirit. Recognizes the priesthood of all
the believers. Women are not allowed to teach, lead or pray where
brothers are present. Fellowship is emphasized and not the membership.
Prophecy
Believe in the pre tribulation rapture of all the New Testament
believers and the Millennial reign of Christ on earth.
