Ceramic guns

Ceramic guns are made of compound plastic and ceramic (hence the name) which makes them barely possible to detect with a metal detector (Magnetic Anomaly Detectors) or X-ray system and are still quite hard to detect with other, rarer and more powerful detection methods. Their shooting mechanism is made of a piezo-electric lighter igniting the powder of caseless ammos (these guns can't use anything else). The amount of metal in the piezo-electric igniter is actually samller than in your average lighter, so detecting it is almost impossible. When scanned with X-rays, the gun is almost impossible to detect if it is not alone, and even then it might be overlooked if the security guard isn't attentive enough.

These guns have the disadvantage of being much frailer than an ordinary weapon, making them lose precision after only a few shots. In game terms this means these guns get a +1 difficulty modifier to shoot for every ten bullets fired with them. They require special clips and bullets (there exist no special bullets for these guns) which are themselves made of no metal whatsoever. These weapons are also highly illegual and quite hard to find. Almost no gun accessories exist for these guns because of their need of metal to work. Smartlinks cannot be put in these guns in any way.

Very few models of such guns are available, here are the specs of the most common (the conceal rating in paranthesises is for detection from metal detectors and through X-rays):
