OCCURRENCES OF Smsw-Hr FROM THE ROYAL CANON OF TURIN (*)

Edition used: A. H. Gardiner, The Royal Canon of Turin, Oxford 1959.

1) pl. I, Column II, line 8 (belonging to fragment 1)

2) pl. I, Colum II, line 9 (belonging to fragment 1)

(*) The text is obviously written from right to left; the text on the image
is written from left to right for clearance purposes.

OCCURRENCES OF Sms-Hr FROM THE PALERMO STONE (*)

(from photos)

Recto:

- 2nd register: 1st (traces), 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th
- 4th register: 1st (traces), 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th
- 5th register: 1st, 3rd, 5th, 9th, 11th (traces)

(*) The photo I have of verso doesn't permit clear readings of the glyphs,
so the verso isn't analyzed. The numbering of the registers and boxes is
not absolute but refers only to the extant part of the stone; so 4th means
the 4th from the top or from the right extant corners and borders of the
stone itself. The text is written from right to left. The text on the image
is written from left to right for clearance purposes.

RELIEF HATHOR TEMPLE, GEBELEIN
(Turin, Museo Egizio, Inv. Suppl.12341) [Note of archivist:
A beautifull and very sharp picture of the above Turin relief can be found
in "Aegypten, Die Welt der Pharaonen", 1997, ed. Regine Schultz and Matthias
Seidel (Ch.2, plate 61). The glyphs Sms-Hr can easily be detected above the
boat.]
