NB I would be grateful if as much business as possible could
be transacted over the net.  Please feel free to reformat or
add to  this message to accommodate your needs.  Please

Please submit your abstract by the end of January (late
submissions accepted on basis of time-slots then available). 
Those involving no special (non-ASCII) symbols can be 
emailed as .rtf attachments (please no Word.xx files). 
Otherwise please post as camera-ready copy preferably 
in Times Roman.


NACAL Registration Fee:
US $40 if before 1st Feb; US$50 thereafter
Banquet Registration:
The fee and venue for this is yet to be confirmed,
but I hope to keep it around that for the Portland
Conference of $30.
Please let me know if you intend to attend
and have any special dietary requirements.

Optional Donation to help scholars with limited funds be
able to attend:  $____

NB I can handle US$, CAD$ and GBPSterling cheques (use the
appropriate exchange rate).  If you have any difficulties
with advance payment because of currency matters please let
me know.

Any surplus above conference costs will be credited to the
NACAL kitty for the next conference (the credit from NACAL
28 was $240).

Friday 30th March 2001

Registration from 10:30 am - 12:00 am
Joint Session  AOS/NACAL 2:30pm at Colony Hotel, 89 Chestnut
St, Toronto Ontario,  - approximately 10 blocks South of the
Comfort Downtown and two subway stops
Additional NACAL Registration late afternoon early evening

Saturday 31 March
9:30- 17:30  NACAL Papers (with appropriate breaks)

Evening - Banquet

Sunday 1st April
10:00 - 17:30  NACAL Papers (with appropriate breaks)

The exact programme will be confirmed when I have the
abstracts.

Please let me know if you are proposing a paper for the 
Joint AOS/NACAL session.
