Image © Maurine Starkey cast as Prince Geoffrey Blackpool aired: February 26th, 1983 to May 14th, 1983 episode #1: "The Unicorn of Death" aired: February 26th, 1983 Prince Dirk Blackpool uses his brother to deliver Princess Ariel Baaldorf's birthday gift, a bomb within a golden unicorn weathervane. The heroes, Prince Erik Greystone and his trusted vassal Marko, risk their lives to rescue the kingdom of Camarand from Blackpool's deviltry. Meanwhile Princess Ariel enjoys Prince Geoffrey's company, she's unaware of his true nature or his brother's plans to destroy her kingdom. episode #2: "The Kidnap" aired: March 5th, 1983 Prince Dirk Blackpool kidnaps Princess Ariel after stealing the Wizard Vector's monocle. With a brutal war to fight and a princess to rescue, our heroes have their work cut out for them. episode #3: "The Rescue" aired: March 12th, 1983 Continuing the story... Erik and Marko race to the Land of Storms to save Ariel from Dirk. They face demons, Vector's black magic and lightning hawks on their journey. episode #4: "Night of Terror" aired: March 19th, 1983 Ariel and Erik go on a picnic and things are far from pleasant. They are "accidentally" trapped in a haunted castle and spend the night battling crazy versions of trusted friends and bitter enemies. episode #5: "Skies of Death" aired: April 9th, 1983 Prince Dirk Blackpool builds a huge cannon on the Cliffs of Death to bombard the kingdom of Camarand. Vector has cooked up a special sheel for the occasion, a primative neutron bomb. To save Camarand, Erik must brave the Cliffs of Death with Marko to destroy the cannon and end another of Dirk's crazy schemes. episode #6: "Caverns of Chaos" aired: April 30th, 1983 Vector's "miscast" spell of Crimson Fever, sends Dirk off to find the antidote to save his own life. The spell also sends Erik after the same cure when his father, the original target of the spell, falls ill. The two men must work together to escape, something neither of them can stomach. episode #7: "Dungeon of Death" aired: May 7th, 1983 Marko's captured by Blackpool and Erik has to employ a rather unusual group of carnival performers to stage a rescue. His group is plagued by fatal mishaps (and near fatal ones) as a killer hides within his forces. episode #8: "Vulkar's Revenge" aired: May 14th, 1983 During a spell of "Death Rain" following an old king's demise, Dirk and Vector find temporary shelter within Baaldorf's castle beneath a flag of truce. Ever an opportunist, Dirk plans to poison his hosts during his stay. Vector has his own evil deeds afoot and summons the demon Vulkar to kill his prince and thus free him from Blackpool's service.
