William J. Hetherington Case

Main Page

This web page is dedicated to the case of William J. Hetherington, a man currently serving a 30 year sentence in Michigan for a spousal rape he did not commit. He was convicted in 1985 and is now in his twentieth year of prison.

Wil's fight to attain his freedom has been fought mainly on two fronts : (1) his appeals in court (now the US Supreme Court; he has exhausted all other appeals) and (2) with the Michigan Parole Board. For more information please visit the NCFM web site.

Wil is coming currently coming up for parole, and a letter on his behalf to the MDOC (Michigan Dept. of Corrections) would definitely be appreciated. Instructions on where to mail the letter plus a sample letter are available here.
