Rant of the month

Skating is an art form in itself, photography is the means in capturing the raw emotion that skateboarding creates.  With all the mainstream 'pop' raping of our skate culture it is important for artists/skaters to be able to show that skateboarding isn't about being sponsered and making loads of money, if that happens than cool but only if it happens without having to sellout. Its terrible I think, to see even skatemags selling out, seeing non skate ads in Transworld pisses me off.  On one hand sure the magizine has to make $ and if nike is going to put up the bucks than it should be the mag's right to use the ad.  However, selling out is still selling out, thank god there is still some cool mags out there like "Color" or SBC Skateboarding.
