(Six days. Six long, grueling days until Hatred. Six days until Jack Hendrix ginally gets the chance to exact his revenge on Nasty Nate. To get back the Dirty South Title that actually belongs to him. To make Nate pay for his transgressions. To "The Headliner" six days is a lifetime. And since Forsaken Friday...its even longer. Between Nasty Nate costing him his match and the beatdown he took from the Hen's moron friends...Hendrix is looking for blood. But as the saying goes 'good things come to those who wait'. And Hendrix has been waiting a long time. But life must go on.

This brings us to the present....

The sports entertainment business is one of the most popular in the world today. And being one of the main attractions...Jack Hendrix has his obligations. And with all the things going on in his life Big Willie-isms has scheduled Hendrix to be a guest on "Unscripted" with Chris Connelly. Will figures that the recognition of the DRWF and Twism TV on ESPN will boost ratings through the roof. So Hendrix reluctantly decided to go on.

As Hendrix stands backstage he can hear the program starting....)

Chris Connelly: Hello and welcome to Unscripted. Today is a very special program. Even though the sports entertainment business is not aired on ESPN...it is a sport heralded around the world. And today we have one of the best in the business. He has wrestled in such organizations such as the Finest in Sports Entertainment, Extreme Professional Wrestling, Final Acts of True Entertainment and now he is in one of the oldest and most respected organizations in the business...The Death Row Wrestling Federation. If you dont know who I am talking about...you will out soon enough. He is known as "The Headliner". Please welcome Jack Hendrix.

(Hendrix walks out from back stage and signs the board. He walks out to Connelly and shakes his hand. He takes a seat in the chair and the interview begins.)

CC: Mr. Hendrix....its great to have you here on Unscripted.

Jack Hendrix: Well for one you can call me Jack. Mr. Hendrix is my father. But anyway...I saw Kurt Angle on here a while ago and I figured you could use someone that actually has a personality. Oh its true. Its damn true.

CC: Well Jack...Its a pleasure. We dont have many people from your business on here.

JH: Well not many people consider what we do a "sport". But I have seen many so called athletes try and do what we do day in and day out and I would say about eighty percent of them failed...miserably.

CC: I have researched some of the training it takes to be a wrestler and it seems that it isnt much differnt from the regular routine of your basketball or football player.

JH: Not much different? Thats a joke. Basketball and Football players got it easy. They play maybe a couple of months a year. When they break a nail they are put on the disabled list. When they feel like sitting out they have that choice. Us on the other hand is a different story. We are going about two hundred to two hundred and fifty days straight. We are on the road the whole time. And to stay at the top of your game you have to work out every one of those days you are on the road. And when we get hurt...we keep goin. Im not saying that we dont have our times when we are physically unable to perform..but it has to be serious.

CC: What are some of the injuries that you have had to endure?

JH: Well lets see. Cracked elbow, partially torn rotator cuff...torn MCL...herniated disc. Just to name a few. But we gotta keep goin. Its our livelyhood. And we cant stay home and whine about being hurt. We dont make the money these other guys do. They could retire after their first two or three years with the cash being transfered there.

CC: Are you saying that you are not getting paid accordingly? From what I have seen you signed a pretty lucrative contract.

JH: I aint gonna lie to you...I make some big bills. But money was never a motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playin the game. But today there a lot of athletes out there that get paid way to much for far too little. If you ever noticed its the young, underpaid players that give everything they got.

CC: I noticed you said it was a "game". Do you like what you do? Or is it just a way to pay the bills?

JH: To me it is a game. I have been a fan of the sport since I was young. And when I was given the chance to enter into the business...I leaped right in. But I aint gonna lie...I do have those days I think to myself 'what the hell did I get myself into?'. But once I get into that ring and get down to business all that goes away. Because I enjoy it.

CC: Good answer. Now...are you a sports fan? I heard it through the grapevine that you are a big Dallas Cowboys fan.

JH: Well unfortunately you are right. I have been a Cowboys fan since I was a kid.

CC: What do you think of Jerry Jones and the way he taking care of the team?

JH: He has ruined a great team. His first mistake is the way he fired Landry. Then he left Jimmy Johnson go. Since then he hasnt had a decent draft. A lot of mistakes have turned a once heralded franchise into just another bad team.

CC: Not to get off of the subject but is football the only sport you follow?

JH: Baseball is long an boring. Basketball is a bunch of high priced crybabies. But I do watch boxing. A sport that I can relate to. Violence is kind of a fetish for me.

CC: That kind of makes me uneasy sitting beside a giant like you.

JH: Dont worry Chris...im not pissed at you. Yet.

(Both men laugh>

CC: Well thats good. But I was wondering. Where did you get the name "The Headliner".

JH: Well when I was in the WWW I was wrestling this guy..I think it was Corsean Grissom. Anyway...during a promo he called me one of the "headliners" of that federation. So it just stuck.

CC: I am sorry to say..we have to leave you. But is there anything you have to say before you go?

JH: Yeah. A couple of things actually. One is to the kids. I know you all may think what we do is easy but it isnt. We are highly trained at what we do. So dont try anything at home. Leave it to us. And the last thing I have to say is I want you all to tune into Hatred on Sunday, February 24 only on TwismTV. I want the world to see the end of Nasty Nate.

(Hendrix and Connelly shake hands as the crowd erupts as the show goes off the air)
