Start

I’m starting over.
I have my life.
I’ll leave behind the things
That were not right.
I can see now
That the things before
Were teaching me lessons
I never knew I could afford.
I’m growing up,
And I’m just beginning.
If I keep in motion,
There will be no ending.
I’ll create each moment,
Make it as I go.
Cannot ease off my grip;
Never fall slow.
I die to live.
I leave my life behind.
To sit in idle,
I’ll never be that kind.
God grant strength.
Cover me with grace.
I ask for endurance.
I will challenge the race.
