Tasmanian Sandboarding

We here in little ol’ Tassie believe that full bindings and snowboard sized boards are for wimps. There is no feeling that compares to the Barefoot Barry style to which we are accustomed. With the never ending coastline which Tasmania provides, the dune possibilities are huge. Places which we have visited so far include Port Arthur, St Helens, Henty dunes on the West coast, Bridport, Friendly Beaches near Coles Bay, Low Head and West Head beach at the mouth of the Tamar River. We have yet to journey to the Hobart region or Arthur River region, however according to rumour, the dunes at Bruny Island are pretty darned awesome. We have just finished putting together a rather amature video. It goes for about 20 minutes, and includes background music by MXPX, The Channel Surfers, Beanbag, The Presidents of the USA and Grinspoon.
