Cover Clues:
- Paul is the Walrus (Even though John sings the song...). In India, the Walrus is a
sign of death.
- Paul is under the other Beatles, symbolizing him being in the grave and the
Beatles looking down at him. I'm not sure if this is an actual clue, but take note that Paul's
costume is black and the other's are white.
- On page three of the booklet, Paul is sitting
at a desk with the words "I was" printed on it.
- In that same picture, above Paul's head,
are two flags which imply a military funeral.
- On page 23, the Beatles are all wearing
white suits with red flowers. Paul's flower is not red, but black.
Song Clues
:
- In Magical Mystery Tour it says "The Magical Mystery Tour
is dying to take you away..."
- Fool on the Hill- "The man with the foolish
grin is perfectly still..." Since Paul is dead, he doesn't move any more. "He's just a
fool and never gives an answer" He wouldn't talk anymore now would he?
- I
Am The Walrus John sings "Goo goo ga joob" which are Humpty Dumpty's last
words in "Finnigan's Wake", before he falls and cracks his head. I'm not positive if
this is a clue also but it also says "I am the egg man. They are the egg men." and
since our friend Humpty was an egg...
- I am the Walrus also fades a reading of a
death scene from Shakespeare's "King Lear".
- At the end of "Strawberry
Fields Forever" John is very clearly heard saying "I
buried Paul." but he claims to have said "Cranberry Sauce". You listen to it
and determine which he said.
