NEW!! This is kind of interesting. It details the tests NASA conducted into spin research using the Grumman AA-1. "Research activities picked up again in the early 1960s with a series of landmark flight studies of the handling qualities of representative single- and twin-engine general aviation aircraft by the Dryden Flight Research Center.

The flight investigations identified poor stalling behavior for several of the aircraft tested; this stimulated follow-on wind-tunnel studies of a series of twin-engine full-scale aircraft in the Langley 30- by 60-Foot (Full-Scale) Tunnel."

NEW!! Louie came out of his 2005 annual with a new panel and refurbished interior. We removed all interior pieces (except the headliner) and each plastic piece received a check up, thorough cleaning and a new gray color coat.

Jan outdid himself on the instrument panel. It is a Kokaska panel with silver powdercoat. Stainless steel buttonhead cap screws were used to mount the instruments for their ease of use, low maintanence and clean appearance. The ADF was removed and a new glove box was fabricated and installed in it's place. Click here to check it out!
