                        Ye Olde Rolf Charter
                  For the Purposes of
                      PLAYING ROLF

Rule The 1st-  The object of Rolf, being a game of luck, skill, and chance, is to locomote your playing appendage (hereafter referred to as the ball) to the finishing point of the hole (hereafter referred to as the pin) in the fewest amount of kicks (shots) as is possible while obeying Newton's laws of physics.

Rule The 2nd- The ball being used must be of the fifth size and produced by an I.R.B. recognised manufacturer.

Rule The 3rd- Shots must be taken by those participating in Rolf in alternating order, regardless of position on the course, excluding special circumstances. Special circumstances will be decided by the involved parties should the need arise.

Rule the 4th- The winning person and/or team shall be the one that is victorious in the greater amount of holes over a 9/18 hole period (length of course to be decided before match).

Rule The 5th- On the subject of Penalty Shots. If a person must play a shot in a place other than where the ball was stopped, said person will incur a one shot penalty.

Rule the 6th- When picking up the ball, the player must have both feet on the ground and be able to pick up the ball in a single fluid motion.

Rule the 7th- Etiquette, Fairness, and Good Sportsmanship must be displayed at all times.

* Note- The pin is to be a physical object (lampost, tree, sign, etc,).
