TicketmasterTM sells 3 million dollars in ticket sales daily.

TM sells 60 million tickets annually with 2,900 retail outlets, 25 nationwide call centers and TM online.

TM claims to make 10 cents profit in each transaction and nets only 1.4 million dollars in after tax profits on 172 million dollars in annual revenues.  (Critics believe this is artificially low.)

Paul Allen, owner of TM and cofounder of Microsoft
TM, is one of the wealthiest people in the United States or the world.

Ironically enough Paul Allen paid 300 million dollars for 79% of TM.

TM controls at least 90% of America's ticket market. (63% of the nation's concert halls)

Surcharges for tickets through TM range from 4 to 18 dollars per ticket.

Tickets purchased by phone, on average, have a 47% increase from face value.

Tickets purchased at the venue, on average, have a 22% increase from face value.

Pearl Jam took TM to court in May of 1994 for charges of being a monopoly.

Justice department dropped the charges in 1995.
