(BRAINERD,MN) - With two weeks left of racing left point leaders were Ed Jensen (Supers), Dave Mass (Streets), Chuck Olson (Midwest Mods), & Mark Olson (Pure Stocks).
First up were the WISSOTA Street stocks feature with Charlie Beens of Emily leading the cars around as the green flag dropped Shawn Wageman of Pine River took over the lead with Beens challenging him untill Wayne Wooden made the pass for second. That gave Shawn Wageman a sizeable lead. Dan Gullikson of Forest Lake made it around Charlie Beens later for third. Further back Donny Thomsen was charging through the field as he came up and challenged Charlie Beens for fourth and later took third from Dan Gullikson. As they came to the finish it was Wageman picking up his second win followed by Wooden, Thomsen, Gullikson, and Beens.
Next up were the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds with Mark Anderson on the pole. As the green flag dropped Chuck Olson took the lead but a caution flew. After they got going again another caution involving a three car pile up. As they got back Anderson took the lead but Olson then later took over the lead and never looked back picking up another cleansweep. Anderson took second followed by Steve Eide of Brainerd, and Kevin Yeager of Nisswa was followed by Mike Jones of Onamia.
Next up were NCMS most competitive class the WISSOTA Super Stocks with Don EIschens and Luke Hines on the front line at the green Hines took the lead by the time Eischens got the lead Dave Mass came charging through the field to challenge Don Eischens and took over the lead before a caution came out.Now we have a battle between the # 2 & # 8 driver in WISSOTA at least thats what it should of been. As Mass and Eischens came around officials said Eischens hit the cone and was sent to the back and then hit the cone as he pulled of the track. When racing resumed Dave Mass won his second feature in a row at NCMS his fourth this season. Brad Jensen took second with Shawn Fletcher, Ed Jensen, and Luke Hines taking the fifth spot.
The entry class NCMS Pure Stocks wrapped up the evenings feature's with CHad Jillson bringing home the feature after Rob Johnson had bad luck in the 2Z car. Mark Olson took second after comming all the way from 19th. Mark Nielson, Buck Smude, and Brad Dwyer rounded out the top five.
Kevin Baron won the Pure B Feature with Charlie Peterson and Greg Klun taking second and third.
