At the Witches Ball this past October, in Harrisburg, PA, Mr. Rigakis gave a talk on Ancient Greece and Threskia. He was then interviewed on the creation of Threskia by Samantha Collins of Pagan Pride in New York. The interview is to be published in the spring/summer issue of New Witch. After publication the interview will also be posted here in our own Newsletter.

The Kaberion celebrated Lennea in the usual manner, banging pots, pans and sticks and bells, the noise was as horrendous as it should be for the cleansing to be done well.

Recently the matter of Threskia and Thelema has been the topic of many intense discussions with the Mystikos Frator. The trouble that has presented itself is with the majority of people that take Thelema to mean Aleister Crowley. It seems with the view of Thelema in Threskia, there is an automatic association that Threskia is the Greek form of Crowleyanity. Nothing can be further from the truth, of course. The only way to steer away from this association is simply not to use the term Thelema. We must set ourselves to find another term to mean the same thing, something like biosis or individualism. Another book on the Greek Mysteries has come to our attention that we full heartedly recommend.
