Radio Interview & Review DisinVectant's The Egg plant and Yin were interviewed on the Mexican radio station MVS (Mexico City) by Angel Dehesa. Three Pin Recordings are also being stocked by the fabulous Norman Records (Leeds UK). You can read Fat Barry's review of the DisinVectant CD here Remixes/reworking's DisinVectant's Yin and The Egg plant have reworked two tracks from the newly released Nilan Perera album, Harmless Love (Synaptic Circus records). Nilan is a Sri Lankan altered guitar performer from Toronto Canada who plays in the bands Lal, Cinnamon Sphere and Smash and Teeny. The remix album will feature many leading lights from the international experimental music scene including the king of plunderphonia himself composer/performer John Oswald and is to be released early 2005. The tracks DisinVectant had their hands all over were A Job In My Factory (The Egg plant) and Ice Mine (Yin), the latter of which also appears on the new DisinVectant album (trk 6). Best described as blues/rock/soul 50/60's influence - William Burroughs meets Jim Morrison in a fire apple red convertable lost somewhere on Highway 61... with a traditional element + crunchy electronics and contemporary pop sensibilities for a new generation.
