New Nightmare- This is an intro (with one spooked out beat in the back) with DJ Paul telling what the CD is and stating more CD's to come out later, while the group chants "TRIPLE SIX MAFIA!!TRIPLE SIX MAFIA!!" #2. Triple Six Mafia- A self-title track. Also one verse...pretty hype though, as DJ Paul talks about the members of the crew to a pimped-out tune. Pretty average,yet bad ass. My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 #3. Throw Yo' Setts In Da Air- This is the original to the one later brought to "CrazyNDaLazDayz" (in which that version featured Crucial Conflict). Paul and Juiceman come tight, Boo goes off and Lord finishes with his demonic, rapid-fire style. The song sounds possessed, but then again, this whole CD does. My Rating: 4 out of 5 #4. Slippin (Koopsta Knicca)- If you couldn't tell from the title, this is a Koopsta solo. One verse (the only drawback) but Koop goes off with his tone like he has demons in him or some shit. Like the CD title, he disses Bone Thugs and proceeds to flowing (even twisting at one point). Bad ass beat with a shitload of bass... not to mention the hook is from his last lines of his verse on "Fuckin Wit Dis Click" off of "Mystic Styles". My Rating: 5 out of 5 #5. Be A Witness (Killa Klan Kaze)- A Killa Klan track, with an average, yet catchy beat. All three members go off, especially K-Roc with the opening verse. His verse is in my opinion the hardest one he's ever done. Mack comes clean about his pimpin and about how he plan's to "break Bones" and Scanman is last, his verse is average but clean. My Rating:4 out of 5 #6. Live By Yo Rep (B.O.N.E. Dis)(Radio Version)- This is the prime track on this CD and the radio version to the one off of Mystic Styles. Same song, but revised lyrics, and Play Fly's verse was missing (I think that was the time he left Prophet). Basically a song versus Bone Thugs N Harmony. My Rating:5 out of 5 #7. Live By Yo Rep (B.O.N.E. Dis)(Screwed version)- This is the same as Track #6, but screwed to a mystified beat, plus everyone sounds like they came out of a Freddy Krueger movie. My Rating:5 out of 5 #8. Tear Da Club Up (Da' Real)- The same song off of Mystic Styles. Nothing different. But even if this song was on a Lil Bow-Wow CD I'd still bump it cuz it's Three Six singin' that joint. Classic shit. My Rating:5 out of 5 Overall Rating: This CD had only 8 tracks. The ONLY drawback to this mug. Solely made to diss and threaten Bone Thugs. But it's still like 40-something minutes of pimped out/hypnotic/horror movie shit. Go ahead and get this cuz it's a classic and it showed how much they and Bone didn't see eye to eye. But if you listen to Bone also like myself, listen to Krayzie Bone's verse (verse 2) in "Look Into My Eyes", as well as everybody else's. The whole song was an answerback to this, nevertheless Prophet continued to answer them. But go get this shit, it's eight songs, but it bumps. 4.5 out of 5 |
