Sebastian Caron played probably his last starts for the Thrashers this season.  Mike Dunham is the starter for the Thrashers heading into a serious vs the powerful Habs.
August 5th 2004--- The Thrashers are in! They will play the Montreal Canadiens.
On paper the Thrashers do not stand a chance.  Nate Hickerson had the following comments when asked about how he thought his team would fair, "First of all I would like to thank all other 29 managers in flash for making this a very organized and exciting regular season, but now the real season is going to start.  As you all know the Habs are a dynasty here, and it looks like we won't have a chance.  I will get my guys ready for 1 game at a time, thats basically all I can do for now, I'm not going to give any idea of our game plan out cause that would be just stupid."

Mike Dunham will have to come up big for the Thrashers in the playoffs if they stand any chance.

New Ratings
August 5th 2004--- Usually a teams playoff success rely's on the guys between the pipes, but in the Thrashers case it all lies on Dunham.  In order to have any chance he must average better than his 54 IRSV% a game because it is almost certain that the Thrashers will be out IRS'd every game.
The Thrashers also have below average D out of the playoff teams.

Glen Murray a 47 goal scorer during the regular season, is going to have to score like that along with his centre Jason Arnott during the playoffs.

A lot is going to have to come together for the Thrashers in the playoffs if they want to advance,
