Welcome to Thornton Labrador Retrievers in beautiful East Texas. We are a very small "hobby breeder" located on 13 acres about one hour east of Dallas. We are dedicated to breeding and raising quality Labrador Retrievers. We selectively breed for characteristics such as personality, training ability, and temperment. Our Labs are AKC registered and raised to be our hunting companions, as well as family pets.

Labs are sweet tempered and great with children. Besides being adorable, Labs are energetic so they require a lot of attention. We will only let our puppies go to good homes that can offer a lot of time, attention and plenty of love. Whether they become family pets, the next Grand Champion or Master Hunter is up to you.

We do use our stud dogs as hunting companions, but they are also family pets. They are calm and very loving dogs with a strong desire for hunting. Robert is an avid hunter and is Vice Chairman of the Mill Creek Chapter of
Delta Waterfowl. We believe in Delta's mission of producing more ducks and securing the future of duck hunters.
