A Little bit of Indiana 

      Hello and welcome to my page on the World Wide Web! Let me share with you some of the things I enjoy in life. One of these is the rich history and beautiful landscape of this state of Indiana. I am fortunate enough to reside in the country near Riley Indiana where the old Wabash and Erie Canal flowed on its way past the locks to the end of the line at Evansville. The old canal bed and the remains of the locks are within walking distance of our house. What a piece of history!

      You will find some photos of the canal and locks and some brief history of such as the Terre Haute Library has stored. Also some state and local parks that I have enjoyed. I will try to update periodically as I get pictures from the different parks. It will give my semi-retired self something very enjoyable to do.
