        Moving Supplies
We supply an appliance dolly free of charge to load appliances and other heavy objects.

You will have to provide the following:

1. Boxes,Blankets and Rope - The better you package your belongings the better they will travel. Boxed items will stack better than those not boxed so please take your time and package everything properly. Get free boxes where you shop or visit, supermarkets or malls etc. Our favorite boxes have handles like copy paper boxes, record boxes, and banana/orange boxes. Wardrobe boxes are the only boxes we recommend purchasing. These are great for transporting hang-ups, suits and dresses and don’t forget to load the bottoms.

2. Blankets can be found at most charitable organizations. They sell regular quilts and blankets for a very reasonable price. Folded cardboard cut from boxes also helps pad furniture. Use crushed newspaper, folded cut cardboard boxes, and towels or rags for padding.

3. Clothes line, twine or rope (Clothes line is cheap and our favorite)
        Loading the Trailer
1. Empty gas tanks on all gas powered equipment.

2. It is illegal and dangerous for us to transport flammable and hazardous materials. If you have any flammable or combustible materials please dispose of them properly or transport them yourself. This includes propane, kerosene, gasoline, paint, turpentine, corrosives etc.

3. Load your heaviest appliances or heavy items in center of trailer. Load heavy items on bottom, lighter items on top. Wrap sofas in plastic and stand them on end if possible to reduce the space used

4. Load items as tight as possible to prevent shifting and rubbing.

5. Use your space well; pack to ceiling of trailer and snug. Loose cushions, pillows and blankets placed in plastic bags can be used as pads between furniture/boxes.

6. Tie everything off. Our trailers have tie off points that allow you to secure your shipment/ belongings
.
                                              Moving Tips

1. Disassemble all items you can.

2. Drain the gas tanks on lawn mowers and gas powered equipment. Do not ship things that will spoil or leak.

3. Label your boxes.

4. When possible, remove the legs from furniture and place all bolts/screws in a plastic bag and tape it to the furniture.

5. Try to keep boxes about 50 pounds or less. Tape top/bottom of all boxes to make certain they will not open while being loaded/unloaded.
