Hamburg, Germany: (5 pictures) – Day 25

Street near Hamburg Train Station - I was actually only in Hamburg for an hour and a half, but I was able to buy a postcard, go to an ATM, eat a falafel and a German beer for lunch, and take this picture of a church near the train station.

Outside of Hamburg Train Station -  This is a pretty typical European train stration.  Usually they would be very close to the center of the city, have a ton of taxis and bikes surrounding it, and thousands of people walking around.

Inside of Hamburg Train Station - This is what the insides of a lot of the train stations looked like in Europe.  They would usually have about 15 tracks, a bunch of fast food places to eat, and of course tons of people walking around.

Ferry Boat Crossing between Germany and Denmark - On the train from Hamburg to Copenhagen the entire train drove right onto a ferry boat for forty minutes while we crossed a big section of water.  Once on the boat, everybody got out of the train and walked around the shops on the boat.  Once we reached the other side of the water, we were in Denmark.

Inside the Ferry with Train and Cars -  This picture proves that the train was actually inside the ferry along with a bunch of cars all going to Denmark.  It was a little wierd being on a train that was on a ferry, but I made it to Copenhagen so I can't complain.

Continue on to Copenhagen, Denmark
