Okay, apologies to all those who have been visiting here loyally and have

been subjected to all this old stale stuff. The time has come for renovation.

SOME QUICK BITS……to get you thru

·        PJ Harvey will join the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone Age at Slane Castle on Saturday 23 August.
This will be Harvey's first trip to Ireland since the release of her Mercury Music Prize winning album, 'Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea'.

·        Tickets for Slane  2003 are €59.50 (including booking fee) and went on sale at 8am on Friday 7 March. But don’t even think of trying to buy one now. It only took 2^1/2 hours for them to sell out.

·        She is to guest on Mark Lanegan's new solo album which is due out later this year. Never heard of him? Click here ONE-WHISKY

·        Harvey has also collaborated with Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age on his Desert Sessions project.  QoTsa

·        PJ Harvey has said that she is nearly finished her sixth studio album, the follow up to 2000's Mercury Music Prize winner 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea'.
The singer told BBC Radio 1 that the new album is both "ugly and disturbing".
Planned for release later this year, she will showcase songs from the ay upcoming gigs.
