In order that any dance/event (i.e. 3rd St. Promenade) that is sponsored, promoted, or hosted by 3rd Street Swingers to be conducted in a smooth and organized manner for the benefit and enjoyment for everyone, All Participants shall be expected to be Personally Responsible and Mindful for the following:
* Always check yourself in for Attendance (ATNDC), with your Initials, on Log-In Sheet provided at every
dance/event.
* Verify, update, and correct any Personal Infomation (e-mail address, phone#, etc.) on the Log-In Sheet
when necessary, so that we can update our database and currently correspond with you by e-mail or
possibly by phone in regards to 3rd St. Swingers dances, events, special bulletins, etc.
* Pay the annual, per calendar year, the $10.00 Participant's Fee ($10PF) or any Other Fees Promptly, if
you have NOT done so.
* Routinely check our website @ www.oocities.org/thirdstreetswingers and/or your e-mail inbox
periodically for the current and latest changes, addendums, and cancellations in the events schedule,
make-up dance, special events, and informational bulletins.
* Dress appropriately and be prepared with the sensible consideration of the Location, Flooring, and Type
of dance/event -- Comfortable Shoes (suede, smooth leather, hard rubber soles, shoe cushions, etc.),
Weather (hot, humid, sunny, cold, etc.), to Keep Dry (towel, fan, change of shirts, etc.), to Keep Hydrated
(water bottle, juices, etc.), and the Audience (adults, families with children, etc.).
* All Participants shall be Expected to Observe the Guidelines of Dance Etiquette, and conduct
themselves in a mature, civilized, responsible, and safe manner at every dance/event.
* ATTENTION, Participants, since there can be risks of injury in all forms and styles of dancing, YOU shall
ASSUME all such Risks and AGREE that the 3rd St. Swingers will NOT Be Responsible in any way for
injuries that you may suffer in. This includes the Third St. Promenade or any other venue location in which
the 3rd St. Swingers hosts or sponsors a dance/event. If you do NOT AGREE, then Please, we suggest
that you DO NOT Participate with us. WE THANK YOU!
* In case of Actual Downfall of Rain in the Santa Monica area, and NOT relying just on the local weather
forecast, Participants shall be expected to check that Sunday Afternoon (1/2 to 1-1/ 2 hours prior to start
time), the Main Page of our website or your e-mail inbox for the Official Cancellation of that event. If a
cancellation has occured due to a rainout or for other reasons, then a Make-Up Dance may POSSIBLY be
Planned for the following Sunday or some near future date. SO PLEASE STAY TUNED!
