- Santa Barbara/Ventura (N.W. Area): 101 Fwy South --> 405 Fwy South --> 10 Fwy West
- Antelope Valley (N. Area): 14 Fwy South --> 5 Fwy South --> 405 Fwy South --> 10 Fwy West
- Burbank/San Fernando Valley (N. Area): 101 Fwy West --> 405 Fwy South --> 10 Fwy West
- Pasadena (N.E. Area): 110 Fwy South --> 10 Fwy West
- City of Los Angeles (E. Area): 10 Fwy West
- Norwalk/BellFlower (S.E. Area): 105 Fwy West --> 405 Fwy North --> 10 Fwy West
- Orange County and Los Angeles Airport (S. Area): 405 Fwy North --> 10 Fwy West
- WITHIN CITY LIMITS OF SANTA MONICA, going west towards the Pacific Ocean on 10 Fwy West -->
Take 4th/5th St. Exit --> Stay in Left lane to 4th St. Exit --> turn RIGHT on 4th Street. Using the map below
as a reference, self-parking can be found as follows:
* Metered parking on any of the side streets and open-air parking lots in the general area.
* At the Santa Monica Mall's parking structure -- just turn left on Colorado Blvd. and the entrance is there
on your right, or continue down 4th street past Colorado Blvd. and the entrance is on your left. NOTE,
there is a "3-Hour FREE Parking Limit," and they "charge a $3.00 parking fee after 5:00pm."
* Public parking structures 1, 3, & 5 located on the westside of 4th street, between Broadway and
Wilshire Blvd.
* Public parking stuctures 2 & 4 located on the eastside of 2nd street between Broadway and Wilshire
Blvd.
* WE RECOMMEND that you park in structures 1, 2, 3, or 4, since it is closest to the dance
venue. NOTE, for public parking structures 1-5, parking is "FREE" for the first 2-Hours!
LOCATION
In reference to the map below, the 3rd St. Promenade Dance is presently and typically being held at our SECONDARY SPOT, NOT at the Primary One (where it all historically started), on the 1200th block between Wilshire & Arizona Blvd! In other words, it's located just 3 blocks North of Santa Monica's Place Mall and just South of Wilshire Blvd.
Typically, we're dancin' near the Pottery Barn store, or near the FatBurger restaurant, or near the Old Navy retail store. When you're within the general vicinity, just listen for the swingin' and jivin' music and a large number of people swing dancing to their hearts content...YOU CAN'T MISS US!!
