Karen has been painting for almost thirty years, since the young age of fifteen. Now 44 years of age, she has sold many paintings throughout her lifetime under the names Karen Reeves, and Karen Bartholomew, and finally, Karen Reynolds.

From the artist, herself:
"I started drawing as a young child, then converted to paining at age 15 and have continued throughout my life. Animals, especially horses, were a favorite from the beginning, and I progressed into Still-Life, Nature, Scenery of all types, and finally Portraits, after many requests. Recently, I have ventured into Character Portraits-in which you [the subject] can become a fairy, an angel, or even the devil. This has been the highlight of my art career, but I still enjoy subjects of all types."
